Fishing has been a bit full on lately out at NPD with cricket scores being the order of the day. However things have slowed down over the last week as the bait fish the bass feed on have moved to other areas. There are still some straglers hanging around where the bait schools were but its harder to get good numbers on lures like we were a couple of weeks ago.

There are some yellas moving about which is strange for this time of the year, they usualy hide until september till the water starts to warm up a bit.Managed a nice 56cm yella first up yesterday on a frenzy lure, along with a few bass on lures and some on the good old realiable shrimp.

Looks like a nice start to the day! Nice yellow belly mate, as I mentioned Sunday that's a fish I am still yet to target so might have to hit you up for a decky spot when they do go in the chew

So that's why they've gone off the chew at the sister lake donut on sunday and only one the week before, but a decent one. Come on summer I say for some surface action.
