Catching freshwater shrimp

Hey all,

As I've recently purchased some shrimp traps I am just looking to get some info for what type of bait to use and where in the water would be the best to place them ie deep water or shallow.

All help will be welcomed greatly.

Here is a Couple of pages from a Red Claw article I put together a few years ago about bait pots and bait based on what Ray taught me.

I use the same setup for shrimp.

Hi Eddie

I find fish frames work the best. If you've got a local reservoir near you, work the edges and keep them in shallow water...make sure water covers the trap though.
