Went to NPD this morning with Rick.

No where near the 19kph westerly that was forecast but certainly was a bit cool.

Headed downstream and nothing doing at first spot so we moved about 20 feet and ended up with around 30 bass and then things went quiet so we started moving around and only got a few in the next hour and then Rick caught a 55 ( 55lb minn kota got his line wrapped around the prop  )

By the time he had cleared the prop we had drifted out into 40 feet of water and I could see fish on the sounder so I hit the spot lock and we were into them again until we ran out of bait.

Possible ex fin rot or maybe genetic. There was no scarring evident.

We averaged just over 19 fish per hour.

Rick has been up the cape the last couple of months and has not believed me when I have been telling him about the hot sessions we have been having.

He is now convinced.

Cheers

Ray
