Winter Camp 2013 - Prizes

Well Searing Tackle has supported this event as always with a few fun prizes and a raffle.

This event is not really about competition or prizes, but it is fun to have a little incentive

This years raffle will consist of the below items:

That's right... we are buying poacher hunting drones

A prize pool for the fishing will also be set up like this:

BIG 4 Champion – combined length of spangly, bass, yella and catfish (catch a cod and you will be default legend and winner)

Biggest bass RRP$100

Biggest yella RRP $100

Biggest catfish RRP $100

2nd Big bass RRP $50

2nd Big yella RRP $50

2nd big catfish RRP $50

Prizes will come from Pontoon 21, Damiki and Fish Arrow

There will also be some great bargains on offer from discontinued lines

The Raffle is worth just over $360. The funds are for the IAPF which do amazing work not just in Zimbabwe but all over southern africa.

Damian Mander from IAPF is an aussie who has chosen to dedicate his life to building and training anti poaching squads to go head to head with organised crime syndicates who control most poaching of Rhinos and elephants etc. His latest project is to aquire drones to allow for larger areas to be under constant surveillance and allow for better use of his men.

He has been on 60 minutes and various other tv shows. his website is www.iapf.org/en/

Tickets are just $2 each and beside getting great prizes the money goes to a cause worth supporting.

If others like myself thought they would buy them at the camp, it is most likely why you haven't had many PM's. All sponsors support is appreciated and I'm sure you'll see some good money going to the worthy cause.
