The Kayak Fishing QLD face book page is holding another fishing social and BBQ on the 25th August at Donnybrook in Qld the target species is Bream there will be a prize for longest one caught you can find the details about the social here;

If you follow the road past the boat ramp to the end there is another ramp in a small culdesac which has access to the estuary going inland. not sure what creek that is called but went for a drive up there once and thought that would be an awsome place for a Yak..(if I had one)very tempted to buy on just for this event,looks to be a great day.

If you need a yak for the day I won't be using mine. Your welcome to use it, just have to pick it up and drop it back to Draper 4520.

Then you can take your time in deciding which yak best for you if decide to get one.

I will go for a look at this spot when I go for another play there on tuesday.

The social was a idea I came up with for the face book group and am very suprised with the great reception so hoping to hold one every month.

next month looking at a bass related social.

Will be hanging out at Ningi Creek abit during jack season its my go to spot land based now to try my new lures out when I buy them garanteed fish.

At this stage we got a $50 voucher from the tackle shop castledine. Hoping to do a runner up prize but will see how much money we have for it at the time.
