Update navionics on my pc.

When i purchased my navioncs maps card i also got the software on my pc, my version is saying 1.4.0.0 and telling me to update to the latest version, which im trying to do but seem to be having trouble.

Im following the prompts.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Me and computers don't mix.

Hi Bri,

I just updated my platinum maps just now. First I had to download the program 'ChartInstaller' from the navionics website. After downloading this program, when I open it, it said to just insert the SD card into the computer and it automatically starts updating! Takes a while but should be pretty straight foward...

When I try to update my Navionics Gold card, I get a message saying that the card is not eligible for the "freshest data". Any ideas?

Gold cards cannot be updated Steve.

Only Platinum cards can be updated online.
