With a lot of effort I managed to get out to NPD saturday and sunday. I had a late start saturday kicking off at 9am and managed to catch more bass than the early 6am start sunday. Fishing has dropped off a little at the moment as the baitfish have moved out of the area. Birds that you seen in Rays post had just come from a raid further down the dam, they were having a rest and fertilizing the area with recycled bait fish.

Sat got 28 with 3 on lures

Sun got 15 with one on lure

Some good size bass amongst all of those. Lures to 3mt are still working although slow at the moment.

Yes with winter drawing to an end the big fatties will start thinning out in more ways than one.
