queensland Land-based Northside - What to target?

Hi - first post, still a noob to the sport but caught my first tailor over at Moreton last week and want to get into it a bit more

Don't have a boat so land-based at the moment. What's the best spot for a beginner and what to target?

Had a great afternoon at Brighton Park yesterday arvo, just wading out in the mouth of the North Pine. Had a few bites on soft plastics but I was only really using them as that was what I had left over in my tackle box. Thought there might be a chance of Flathead as the tide was on the way out?

Also Deep Water Bend is very handy for me

Any tips?

If you are after flatties try hays inlet, or beside baxters jetty at sandgate before and after low tide using plastics.
