Plastics for tuna?

The last two weekends we have encountered tuna in the bay but after dozens of casts with slugs of assorted styles and sizes we have failed to attract a single strike.

I have heard good things about plastics for tuna. I remember someone mentioning something about 6\" pink plastics being retrieved slowly.

Does anyone have any info. i.e. jig head weight, colour style etc.

PS I am getting desperate after loosing two tuna. One through a foul hook through its eye, the other sitting the lure near the boat.

I dunno much about what types to use, but buy strong jigheads. My brother lost a Tuna that he got nearly up to the boat when the hook of his eBay jighead bent.

TT would be the best option imo
