my first mulloway

Hi guys, went fishing last Sunday afternoon in my Hobie in the southern bay. Was throwing around some plastics and just when I was about to call it quits the line went tight. After a 5-7 minute fight and being pulled around by a good fish up popped a 99cm jewie. I was hoping for one of these this year and

was very happy to get my target fish. I caught it on a 4" Gulp turtle worm, on a 1/6 jig head and 15lb leader/line. Fish had a lot of weight. Have attached the photo.

Can't see the photo Greg, but congratulations on your first mulloway. They are brilliant looking fish and from a kayak is special.

Congrats mate that's a great fish from a yak - well done! Are you sure you couldn't stretch it one more centimetre .........
