Attended day one of the tagging weekend today with James and he was first on with a bass on the troll

We then trolled and cast our way around the western side of NPD right up near the kobble creek end for zilch. Then we made our way over to the southern side where Ray and crew were getting into a few. It wasnt long before we to were rippin them over the side 2 at a time. We stayed in this spot till the shrimp ran out and the taggs run out at the same time.

We then headed off trolling again with me picking one up before we had gone a short distance. As I was releaseing it I noticed I had a school under the boat, I quickly said to James have a look at the sounder we are staying here. We started off dropping rattlers into them and getting quite a few, then I asked James if he had ice jigs with him, he said yes so we both got stuck into on the jigs. We finished up with 109 bass, 48 on shrimp and 61 on lures. James got a few ahead of the old fella while he was busy doing the tagging recording and do you think he went home with a smile on his face you betcha.

It was such a great day and can't believe how productive the lures were!!!! Thanks so much for taking me out as I thoroughly enjoyed myself and learnt heaps too!

I took some bark off my leg awhile back and the sun got at it yesterday, now its itchy as.

Smack was the lure yesterday unfortunately I never had one.

Dunno what the lures that worked for me were, some Vibe Ray had given me called a black widow and a Damiki diver I got in the Auction for Chubstar passing away.

Both looked like boney bream

I see from your photo's colour and style were not exclusive to catching a few!

We were mixing the colours up a bit, they would get wary to our lures after awhile, except for James smack ice jig.

They were there but a bit lure shy, callum and teekee were getting a few on blades and elops was still getting them on soft vibes, we all packed it in soon after you left.
