EMFMI helping out the council

Sunshine Coast Council have been running 150 anniversary celebrations up the coast.

Today was concentrated on Ewen Maddock Dam, With the coach house open to the public, talks on the walking trails and a tour of the water treatment plant (albeit the tour was cancelled at the last minute).

Council asked Ewen Maddock Fish Management Inc to turn a few sausages for the crowds they were anticipating, put on a bit of a display of what we do, answer questions, demo casting and talk about fishing kayaks etc.

Didn't get a huge amount of customers, but it was a very nice day at the dam, got to talk fishing for a few hours, talk to a few members of the public and share our passion for stocking fish and fishing (and tell them all the Liberal Govt cancelled all the funding for stocking :evil: ) .
