Headed out for a fish this morning to hopefully jag a few bass. Teckee joined us today and we both really enjoyed your company. Started off well for me as I think that I had about 7 bass and Dad and Teckee both had about 2 each so we changed lures and got a few more spanglies and bass.

Then we moved on and the fishing got a bit quiet. I then changed lure to a chatterbait and that was a great move! On my second cast my line on my rarenium started to scream off! I knew that it must be a big fish, but it wasn't until it jumped completely into the air that I realised what I was fighting... a monster toga of at least 70cm+ :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: After not losing it on the initial jump I thought to myself, great it must be hooked really well, but after 1 more run and a massive head shake the prehistoric fish was gone  Anyway I'm still really stoked that I even got to experience the fight and jump of a toga. (Also Teckee and Dad are my eye witnesses of the leap!)

Some more bass

Dont feel to bad about missing the togar, I have lost plenty, hooks straightened on beetlespins, some have gone up in the air and straight down into the weeds and others have shaken the hooks free. They can frustrate you thats for sure.

Dino

Thanks Dino, that makes me feel a lot better!
