Southern Bay Sojourn

Doobsy

Recommended Posts

Sweresy and I hit the southern bay this morning with the hope of nabbing a couple of pan-sized (or bigger) pinkies for dinner.

Target species was acquired pretty early on but the bite was luke warm to say the least.

We shot up to Dunwich to see if anything was biting. We had a bit of action with a decent Gar on a Maria hard-body as well as a couple of firsts for me including a very pretty Chinaman and a couple of Grassies!

We cast around for a while with not much action except for a nice flattie comfortably over the 55cm mark.

Beautiful day out on the Bay with some cool fish on light gear.

We were back at the ramp by 10 as it was super hot. A stop at Viccy Pt bakery and home to clean dinner.

Great morning followed by the place to myself and the Ashes on the box. ;)
