G'day all. Managed to shoot out for a quick flick after spending most of the day in Toowoomba doing a kids fishing holiday program.

Launched at Talle around 2pm , made our way up stream and started working the banks.

After a few casts I got the tell tail bump of a flatty, only a little fella but off the donut at least. Not long after we were flicking along side a rock wall and the flash j got well and truly hammered by something big. After a blistering run the line went slack, so no idea what it was

We kept on plugging away and few casts later I hooked up to this Grunter, which gave a decent account of its self.

After that the spot went quiet so we moved further up river. First cast in at the new spot and bang, double hookup on a couple of flatties. Again nothing huge around the 45 mark.

Then Todd hooked a pup GT.

All in all a good way to cap off the day.
