Hi, ive recently gone back to doing a little freshwater fishing, flicking lures for bass and the like with no avail.

I have tried places like colleges crossing, 7 mile bridge, warill creek and lockyer creek, so if anyones got any ideas hints and tips id be very greatful..

just keep at it. try to stay away from the crowds or go early before anyone else gets there. are you land based or fishing from a yak? here are some that I caught on Saturday less than 15min drive from CBD

I like to start casting before first light.

landbase mate for the time being, got a boat but its far to big for out here anywhere..nice bass mate brassal area?

in the bremmer I find that smaller lures are working for me atomic cranks, r2s baby cranks in brown colours like ghost gill. tiemco ssc for surface or atomic k9, zman grubs 1/4-1/6 with a jig spinner fished like a spinner bait. be brave and prepared to lose lures cast deep into snags and you will be rewarded. try the Sydney st bridge. before I got my yak Google was the best tool to find out were to get down to the river.
