Just purchased the new Curado 200 I

Hi guys,

I'm new to baitcasting and just bought a new Curado 200I from the states for $155. Should be coming next week according the tracking (should I trust it? haha). Have used them before but now it's time for my own. I can't wait to try it out!

Am wondering if anyone has any thing they like to do when they get a new baitcaster, whether it be take the whole thing apart and lube the bearings, or fully degrease the bearings and start from scratch oiling and greasing gears etc. I've heard the latter is the way to go but wanted to hear your opinions. I want to do it all properly (I'm a perfectionist lol). Obviously the reel would be close to perfect off the bat, but is there anyway to get it better?

I've got some 20lb Fins to go on (which was $25 for 300 yrds with free shipping!)

If you want to make it better off the bat then go for a full set of ceramic abec 7 bearings and carbon drag if it doesn't already have it. Otherwise I don't do anything to mine other than spool it up and go fishing.

May as well use the reel and wear out what it has before modifying it.
