victoria 10 KG Snapper

Thought I would share a report from my youngest brother sent to me on Friday. He caught his first 10kg snapper from Western Port Bay in Victoria and it went 102cm long and just over 10kg. A trophy fish that is still swimming to give another angler the same thrill.

He was competed in the annual Tea Tree Snapper competition last week (over 2,000 entrants and after many years him and his mate finally snagged a prize. A HDS 7 Gen 2 touch, I think he said they are going to sell it and split the proceeds. If he had caught this one week earlier he would have taken out the largest snapper category by a few kg's. the winner had an 8kg from memory.
