Fraser Island Sharking trip

Hi All

We are planning a trip to Fraser Island in late March or early may and will be targeting sharks and rays.

Where is the best place to do this and which camp sites are nearest. We do not need facilities as it is a boys week away.

Any advice you can give on bait etc would be appreciated.

The Hillbilly way

Big Bait (Like slabs of fresh water eel)

Big rod (lots of line)

Swim (if you dare) out past the breaker or better the gutters to drop you're bait off.

Crank a tinny, or 20 and wait.
