Hi all. I am going bream fishing tomorrow and I wanted to know some retrieves for my soft plastics. I have been using a retrieve which is: let the plastic sink to the bottom and give it a few aggressive flicks and let it sink again. is this a good retrieve and is there better retrieves? so I would like to know some retrieves to get a better catch rate

You have the correct retrieve there but make sure your jig head is light enough that the plastic will slowly float to the bottom but heavy enough that it will sink to the bottom eventually. Bream bite as your plastic floats down so the longer it is doing this the better. Watch your line closely as your plastic sinks and if you notice your line moves or flicks tight then lift your rod to sink the hook. This tactic works for me while using plastics like the 3 inch power bait minnow.
