Just a few quick pics from today, had an epic little session on the bream and between 2 of us we landed around 40 fish with a few flathead also adding to the tally. Working shallow cranks in under 1m and around the mangroves on the rising tide was the go and the fish were climbing all over them. I had a few tense moments in the mangroves as I got whacked hard by a fish and only running 4lb flourocarbon straight through this fish was tearing me a new one, he got me around some branches behind the yak so I went with an all or nothing approach and loaded up as much as I could on that gear, with the line scraping the branches it swam out and I got lucky, once he was in the net I let out a few yahoos as this was definitely a new PB and sure enough it went 39 tip on the ruler, absolutely stoked. All in all a great day and I didn't have to travel hours for a bit of fun!

Wasn't too bad until about 11,then it really amped up and was a wet ride home.
