queensland Hinze Western arm 29/11/15

Went to the western arm with Mark this morning. Sorry no photos as weather looked wet and I did not wish to get my camera wet. We hit up Ians island first off and pulled over 20 bass before moving to the trees on the submerged point upstream where we got stuck into the bass again. No biguns but looking at my tagging records i tagged 12 bass over 40cm with the largest 43.5 and the smallest bass of the day 33cm. 5 tandans as bycatch and no barred grunter which was a bonus. We knocked off at 10.30 when the wind got up

Gday Ray, whats the water levels like at the moment.

Matt dam is currently at around 95% it has risen a couple of feet over last week. Plenty of fish in the trees and you are now allowed to leave your petrol motor on. Just have to remove fuel lines and tank if possible.
