I'd assume that would be the Shark in the Harvey Bay expo thing. We were there this time last year and she was smelling a bit off.

interesting to see the outcome for this. As it was taken when it wasn't illegal to kill great whites.

Does that make it illegal to sell nowadays a lion skin killed in 1850 in Africa? it is an interesting conundrum

John, my understanding is that any items legally obtained before the prohibitions were put in place are still able to be bought and sold. ( may be not internationally as many countries have blanket bans on all items whether legally gained or otherwise).

For example, jewelry and ornaments made from ivory, before the prohibition on ivory to try to stop poaching/blackmarket trade etc), still gets bought and sold but, I would guess one would need documented proof  that the ivory/item was obtained legally before the prohibition came into force.
