queensland Mt. Crobsy delivers again

hey guys,

well had a spare hour before i had to do my blasted english assignment so i thought id drive down to the Mt. Crobsy wier and check out my 'secret bank' lol

so got down there with 40mins to spare, landed two little bass - best one 35cm to the fork - on the soft plastic spinner baits, the ones from charltons which u can put basically anything on the coat hanger part of it...their awesome! so yea two small bass and it wasn't even prime fishing time yet, bout 3 o'clock...

Good stuff, I use to fish there back in 2000, nice easy place to fish (Havn't fished there since). I think I'll have to go have a look.

Good work, I was below the weir yesterday and all I got was 9 freshwater jew and a tarpon.

Sounds like you could be above the weir cause below is a bit crappy at the moment going on some of your other reports good stuff mate 2 bass not bad for mt crosby at 3 in the arvo.

Nice work mate. Also cool to hear about the tarpon Tomca. I have heard of a lot up there but have never targeted them.
