Got an invite to deckie with Sam yesterday which was most appreciated.

Things got off to an interesting start with this found on board... Quickly disposed of by Sam.

But things went well with  a few of these coming in quick succession.

We beat the weather back.

I am here for another 4 days but don't expect another report as 35 knot + southerlies could stuff me. Oh well.

It was a great day, thanks for coming along. I'm very glad I made the most of both days and got to use the boat. I will do a report of the longtail trip with my brother later.  

There will be somewhere on the island we can drop a line

Looks like a lot of fun guys.  Should have thrown Sam overboard seeing as he was trying to sabotage the session .  When the wind drops down I'll have to head out there chasing some tuna and mackerel.

It will never drop down. This southerly looks like it is here forever.

One banana eating another, you don't see that everyday

Nice spotties, I bet you make some gourmet meal out of them Angus.

 

It's 5knts in Samford this morning and I looked at Willy Weather it's 30knts at Cape Moreton and gusting to 38knts!

Best to do some maintenance on the gear and boat. Spent 5 hrs yesterday hand polishing the boat, come up a treat.
