queensland Breakfast creek

Hey, I was thinking of heading out tomorrow afternoon/ night to the breakfast creek jetty. Has anyone lately fish on there or around breakfast creek and had any success? I was going to use mullet strips I got from the fish shop as bait and was also going to try to catch live bait with one of those bait rigs, do they work 

Any help would be great thanks

Bait jigs are prob better in deeper water verticle jigging. Mullet strips should catch you plenty of cat fish and maybe a bream.

Ok thanks @Angus, wasn't really looking  to catch cat fish but they can always be fun

No i did not think so but any sort of dead bait in the river and they will be all over it.
