We tried trolling first off for some mini bass

So headed down to the float looking for some larger fish as Jason wanted to take a couple for the table and Graham had also asked me for a yella.

 

Had to take this larger one home as she slammed the bait on the way down and was bleeding profusely.

Nice fat yella.

We got around 20 fish off the float and then headed back upstream where we got around 40 bass and 3 forkies on bait.From memory around b20 of the bass were undersized and a lot more under 35 which augers well for next year.

Great work guys! 

A Yellowbelly was my first fish ever, in the Condamine river at 4 years old. Have never caught a bass.

I love reading about you guys getting double figures almost every trip!
