My tip: Whenever fishing stationary or slow drift etc have a floating pillie out.

I've been reading these reports this year and they are very informative and mostly involve mackerel, whiting and squid.

In front of the Lazaret Gutter (Peel Island), Rous & Little Ships Channel (below Harries Artificial), Hope Banks (between Green Island and Harries) plus over on the inside of Moreton (Shark Spit, Blue Hole and I think little Sandhills area) seem to be the ones mostly mentioned for school macks. I bought a couple of paravanes and trolling spoons (Makka brand) but need to put some time into using them.
