Tackleback

I am starting to get a few lures together now and the missus has wised up on my theory of lose one buy three more to replace it theory. Anyone on here use a tackleback and do they work or are they a bit of a gimmick?

I've used them, they work ok, idea is they grab the trebles, allowing you to reef it off and hold onto the lure. I have one but rarely use it, I rarely loose a lure on the boat, (I dont troll much, which is a good way to donate lures) you can usually position the boat to get the lure back. I doubt they would work land based unless you were snagged real close to shore.

well worth having one if you use lures in creeks etc
