How Good Is The Rain!

How good is the rain going through the south east atm!!
 Alot of the freshwater creeks have been infested with weed!! Hopefully this is enough to clear some of the creeks up and bring out some brutes!!!!!

at the end of last week some of the weather models were hinting towards some reasonable rain in our SE Qld corner over the next couple of weeks, be good for it to come to fruition and give all our waterways a bit of flushing. Will help kick the late January - March prawn season into gear. It would also flush the muddies down to the lower reaches too.

works both ways!! looking forward to chasing some big bass over the coming weeks!! bring on a few big 50cm skinny water specimens!!

Need a lot more rain NPD was at 57.1 % at 6am yesterday dropped to 56.8 % at 6 am today. Whilst the overnight rain is some benefit we really need at least 6 inches in the catchment to make a significant difference.

yeah definitely need alot more for the dams, hopefully more to come!! and yeah just need a bit to clear the creeks up as i said atm with all the weed cover makes them alot more difficult to fish!!

Loving it. Tingalpa reservoir is still very dry.

Unfortunately, the catchment areas behind NPD only saw about 1/2 of the rainfall.

Don't think there's going to be any inflows unless we get much more rain.

got bugger all up my way, main rain stopped a k or two south of us, be lucky to have got 10mm.
