hey guy going to pick up 2 1200 wft electric reels on friday and was looking for good priced rods to go on them anyone got any thoughts on what to get dont what to pay over the moon prices

Just use your normal rods Brad.

Don't follow the hype of using bent butt game rods, you don't need them.

Get something that you can hang onto all day.

I have a Shimano Deep Jig 400 with one of my electrics and that is the best outfit that I have.

even with the 1200 reels

Yes. My reels are the same size as what you just bought and I run them on standard rods.

You can use game rods but I don't like them, especially when chasing Pearlies and Snapper, ect

right o might go that way or one of each iam lazy and dont mind it in the rod holder will see how much cash i got left too,i do like the thought of holding it for snapper and pearlies  too

Tcurve 400 by far the best rod. Second choice would be shimano backbone series. Just dont get the roller tip.

ended up with a crucis elite titan

and a daiwa procyon went a little lighter so i can buy the heavy one later,and 2 1200 wft electrics there great now to water test.

yes cant wait to use them going to 1770 this weekend but cant use them yet until i get batteries for them

Yep I was worried they would go flat? I dont know what i'm talking about it just seemed scary.

the wife use it she loved it got a few good fish on it too we done alot of fishing in 40 meters so didnt need it there but was a great reel
