Had a long day yesterday, up at 2.30am and didnt go to bed until after nine last night. To much for an old fart.

I started at lake K where the gate opener was late again, I have reported the situation to SEQ wATER. On the water by 6.30am and fish on right away, oh forgot to mention I was out there tuesday, pushed off from the bank, went to put a couple of lures out to troll and had no lures, left them on the bench at home, back to shore and up  to the car to get some out of the tackle box, no tackle box had a look in my bits and bits box and found 2 spinnerbaits and a vibe. Managed over 30 bass, no pics as the camera was with the lures.

Back to yesterday, with a full arsenal of lures I managed over 40 bass and caught my equal PB for this dam of 46cm ( only looks 45 on the mat it tried to jump as I took the pic)

Then I had to take my grandson home to canungra where I had a thousand casts and was happy when I caught a bass,syayed for dinner and home by 8pm.

I followed their growth once they got to 40cm, they went up a cm each year, then when I got a 46 they stopped,that was 2 or 3 years a go and thats the first 46 since.

I fished 2 schools one had a few good sized fish, 46,42,34,35 and the other 22,23,24,25etc etc small ones took blades and the bigger ones hardbodies.
