End Day 3

Aus 4/53

Admittedly the pitch (after nightfall) got some life into it, but did the Pom bowlers bowl that good , did the Aus batters play too defensively, was it a combination of both? To eliminate one of those, if I was Smith, I`d demand that the Pom bowlers submit blood and urine samples

It`s good to see the Poms are putting in for the challenge, it will keep a high interest  in this game :)

Mate as I saw it many of the balls were unplayable. Seaming and swinging. They did very well to not be 6 for IMHO.

They have a good lead already and at only 4 for should put it way past 300 and with 2 days remaining (unless jebus makes it rain too much) I see an aussie win. 2 nil up with 3 to play...

Perth will be a fast bowlers paradise and we have ALL the fast bowlers.

Sydney will be a spinners paradise and we have the best spin bowler

Melb... well who cares about melb anyway... except Melbournians... and they will tell you how superior their ground staff are... for hours... and how much better their pitch is...

I hope just having 4 specialist bowlers doesn't mean that they will break down.

Drop Bear ;) that`s what I mean, if it was the Oz bowlers they would have racked up a heap more wickets on that pitch:devil: it`s the Poms  look at James Graham with the Doggies, he operates on more than fresh air:lol:

but seriously:

They should all be banned from starting sentences with "I". Too much opinion and chat about how good they were not enough commentary IMHO

 most of them are eskimoes just like ch 9`s NRL commentators, they forget a committed team network helped their playing careers.... Not a Solo Man among them :223_speak_no_evil::lol:

sometimes, when the crap on TV gets too much for me I turn the TV volume down and get the live commentary from the radio, Gus the Goose and Druggie Joey sound so much better by doing that :)

Yep this is the best. my only problem is the time delay. I hear the commentary about 7 seconds before c9's vision. Exciting but somewhat off putting. Fave thing is to listen to 612 cricket while making some mackerel rigs :)

Well TBH I did think the tale would have wagged a little longer then that. Two early wickets first up yesterday really squashed them. Looking forward to a nice quick WACA pitch now to see Stark and the boys take a heap more. Lyon has been on point last two games. All of our bowlers have been with loads of maidens being bowled.

Day 2

lunch….

Poms all out 403.

lost their last 5 wickets for 21 runs. :)

Malan 140 and Headbutt Bairstow 119

Bowling: Starc 4/91   Hazlewood 3/92  Cummins 2/84  Lyon  1/73.

Aus need each of the 1-5 batsmen to stand tall today and tomorrow to put heat back on the Poms.

Without Malan`s and Headbutt`s combined 259, the Poms accumulated144 for 8….:)

Tea Break

looking very good :)    Aus 4/421  lead by 18.        Smith 182 n/o  M Marsh 100 n/o

M Marsh finally hit up his first test century, took 22 matches and a few drops and recalls, but did it with determination and concentration. Well done Back to the Future, and on home turf too.
