Have got slack in my old age.

Mate used to be a chicken farmer and we used to smoke a couple of dozen chooks and we used to buy a whole pig and butcher it and smoke our own hams and bacon.  

Now days i just buy a piece of pickled pork and smoke that for xmas dinner.

Hell of a lot quicker and leaves more time for fishing.

clever! yummo. I will do this for next year. Do you have any pics or links to your smoking set up? I'm really keen to make one. I will probably build it myself. If all goes to plan... spotties smoked will be a main stay here :)
