Slipped down to the sons place in the GC hinterland for the weekend. I thought it might be a bit cool for the bass and I was right it was nearly freezing. Took the small yak and forgot the seat, so couldnt spend to much time in it with my crook back. Son managed to get me the OK to fish on another property, it looks the goods for when sunmmer arrives. I am lucky I have several places to fish now.

yep good  call are they roed up?  The ones I took home from NPD had massive Roe sacks.

Also are bass like Barra that turn female?

Most females roe up during winter.

There is no evidence that bass turn from male to female according to several fish experts I sent emails to.

Ok nice. I'm nearly 50 now and have put on a stack of weight lately so I'm wondering if I am getting ready to turn into a Female???
