Underwater Photography

Hey I am needing to do some sea floor photography for the oyster reef stuff. 

Does anyone know of a system where I can drop a camera down and watch a live feed on a monitor?

The Garmin VIRB has been recommended to me but I don't know it or how it works. I will need to record as well.

I would try contacting Peter Hansler I think he posts on AFO and other forums under rainbowrunner here is a link to him on ausfish which has his email in it. http://rainbowrunner.ausfish.com.au/New Page 1.htm

How deep? My new fuji camera is good for 20 mtrs. Has wifi remote as standard. A trolling gopro will work too for a live feed and record.

Happy to test the fuji one weekend with you if u wish.

thats heaps. I only need about 10m max but normally 3 to 4 m.

It has a wifi remote? Does it send a picture from under water?

The wifi remote does show a remote live feed along with the ability to start and stop recording or take a pic.

Just need a way to keep it straight one dropped down. Will be free Sunday arvo if you would like to test?

If there is wifi signal then yes. This is what needs testing.

No, that was a normal "gopro" clone. Mine is a fuji film point and click camera I bought.
