Trees at the gate were blowing a bit but it did not look too bad at the ramp so we launched and headed upstream to the redclaw pots only to find the first 6 had been ratted but the ones furthest  up were ok. On the way back downstream saw a big camp at the container on the far bank so reckon we know who had a feed of redclaw at our expense,

Fab

fantastic brekky provided by Tai.

Wind was only a few k so off to the fishing. picking up 20 odd bass at first spot before they moved on.
Next spot was the point opposite the end of Koala straight where we picked up 4 bass and that was all. Next spot was Andrews dropoff but the wind was getting up and we left at 10.30 the wind was making it unfishable. I had set the spot lock and the drift alarm was at 50 feet and the alarm was going off all the time.

It was a bit hectic back at the ramp with whitecaps breaking on the ramp but with the 4 of us and the leccy winch got the boat on first attempt.

Final tally was 40 legal bass with the largest 47cm. 3 of the bass were tagged.

 Cheers

Ray
