Crazydeep lures were the standout for an arvo session yesterday. Although after visiting the doctor every morning this week, I headed to the dam with a plan in mind, I had been seeing these bass sitting at 30ft and my crazydeeps with led sr,tip attached only go down to 26ft, so I invested in a couple of 30ft lures.These proved to be a winner, getting me some big solid bass sitting on the bottom. Managed 68 bass or more with 3x 50s.There was dark clouds overhead, which I reakon brought the frenzy on. With the wind came the cold, I had to put my raincoat on to keep warm. Couldnt leave while there was a hot bite on. Look cloesly at 5th pic, this is what I have to put up with during breeding season.

On my last trip we didn't have any do that, can't imagine all were females.

I washed all my fishing clothes one day last week, then the next day got spotted 4 times all over my trackie dacks.

When the yellas are roed up you have about a kg with the 2 egg sacks, and as they cant breed in the dam it just gets reabsorbed back into the fish. I have caught yellas in february that still had eggs.
