See the mt Cotton Hillclimb is on this weekend. If you are not fishing it is well worthwhile going for a drive for a great family day out.It is well over 50 years since i used to go and watch various home made contraptions made from the likes of old austin 7,s plus more modern such as  MG tc,td and tf plus other exotic machinery race against the clock.

When Saturday, 1 September, 11am – Sunday, 2 September 2018, 4pm Where Gramzow Rd (off Mt Cotton Rd) Mt Cotton Age range Infants and toddlers, Preschool Kids (2-5), Kids (6-12), Teens, Young adults (18-30), Adults (30+), Seniors Event Type Sports Suburb Mount Cotton     Details This is a motorsport event in which drivers compete against the clock to try to improve on their previous best time and also to beat others in their class group. Competition vehicles range from road registered cars through to specialist openwheeler hillclimb cars. Competition begins at 11am on Sat 1st Sept and at 8.30am on Sunday 2nd. There is no charge for admission for spectators and there are unrestricted views of the circuit from the terraced area above the start line. It's the best value motorsport you will ever experience. The final round of the series will be held on 24/25 November,
