Late start again, wind was up already, so decided to have a little explore upstream for a change.Had to work for the fish, finding them in places I hadnt fished for over 10 years.To windy to troll ,jig  or cast, so settled in for some bait fishing.Managed 37 bass with one 50cm.I tried for toga,silvers and goldens, but no luck.

Bass would not come to me I had to go to them, I was in a long stretch of water fishing with 3 rods out and having a few casts to the bank, I would get a few on bait, then move about 20m and go through the same routine again.In the meantime I would just sit and take in the quiteness , scenery, birds, deer etc.

Does the bite slow down in spring?

Not realy, find the food source and thats where the fish will be.
