During the recent PRFMA survey, I discovered a new method of jigging spoons, so I couldnt wait to see if it would work over in our area for fishing. It works well in heavy winds.Using a Norries spoon, I put some assist hooks on the bottom of the spoon ( as you can see in the pics ). Then when the wind is blowing, you drop the jig to the bottom, give it 2 small jiggs, then one big lift, Then you will notice a big bow in the line,what happens then is that this slows the drop of the spoon considerably, giving the fish more time to make up their minds to attack it.

Also while fishing I decided to paint one of my crazydeeps black with a little glitter added, it worked a treat. Managed 53 bass all up casting to edges, trolling and jigging and left for home with a big school under me, back at ramp by 10am.
