Had my last session for awhile this morning, as going to get a bit of skin off my thigh sewn onto my forehead on tuesday and wont be able to wear a hat till it heals a bit.I had to make it a quick session this morning as well as I couldnt get sunburnt. Stopped fishing at 10am with plenty of bass and a few yellas, casting, jigging and trolling, no bait today.

Bit of a sook when it comes to pain, I will be awake during, so have to have 4 different locals and they do hurt a little.They are taking a patch 4x3cm and checking another, then I have to wait a couple of hours why they check it and if need be they might have to  go deeper and do it again, then they take a graft off my theigh and sew it on and if lucky I will be home for dinner. Then days of running back to the doctor for dressings ( I keep my doctor busy, they love me)

Good luck, @Dinodadog.  I hope the doctor gets it all at the first pass. I think the hardest part is staying still all that time. Strangely the area where the graft comes from is more painful in the days after the procedure than the site of the incision. Do you know if it is SCC, BCC or the dreaded melanoma? Hope you heal quickly and that @rayke1938 puts up plenty of bass reports during your convalescence to keep you entertained.

Unsure, treatment is called Mohs micrographic surgery, then they are hoping for spontaneous granulation (wound heals itself) all over my head

That Mohs is very effective, the best part is they test on the spot and keep going if need be. Very thorough. They were going to do that on my nose but the surgeon wanted to try a different technique by removing tissue from near my eyebrow and using that to rebuild my nose.

It's now beautiful and just as cute as a button.
