False Hope???

So heading to Straddie today i saw an unfamiliar site. The mud flats coming out from the harbor at Cleveland were... sand flats. I don't remember them ever being anything but mud? Is this the case or am I not remembering properly? Could this be the result of all the silt mitigation that we do on road works and construction sites??? Could we have a sandy western Moreton Bay again full of shellfish and Coral???? Or should I just calm down...

 

 

 

Oh and by the way i have never seen so many boats at horseshoe bay as there is today!!!! Happy New Year!!!!
