I was in a bit of trouble with the bass being a bit lure shy after trolling up a few, so changed over to bait, but that didnt help either. So I took off to other parts of the dam until I seen a couple on the sounder and it was fish on and and on. Managed to get one 50cm in amongst 61 bass and 2 recaptures.

Every now and again a fresh school of bass come into our area and you notice the size and the health state of them.

Nice work mate. I thought you had a double hook up double recapture in one of the photos but on closer inspection it was some damage to the fin. 

Good on you for finding the schools. I am amazed at how mobile they are. I guess they cruise around looking for food. A bit like birds do.
