A last minute decision to head out this morning, we ended up at the 24's. Great day for it wasnt rough and therefor the kwells were not needed in the end.

Pulled in 12 snapper in total, however all under the 35cm mark except one which was 37cm so back they went.

We were just drifting over the reef bottom dashing. Had 5/0 hooks and big baits any suggestions as to why we were only picking up the little fellows?

The reef on the sounder seemed to be pritty much flat. Are there big pinancles on the reef you need to look for which hold the bigger fish or should the big boys be still on the flatter reef bottom?

No way got plenty of fishing in me left for the weekend, but the winds look a problem. Only had to use 3/4 lb and could have gone lighter no run hardly.

Yeah i think finding the holes and bommies is the way to go since they hold bigger fish. Searching around i only found one bommie on the 24's and somehow didnt save the weigh point correctly.
