I left my tucker bag and my spinnerbaits at hom this morning.So I was a bit handicapped as far as fishing goes. Managed to borrow a bottle of water off my mate Glen and had to starve until I got home, boy did I enjoy lunch.

On the fishing side I managed to find a half once spinnerbait, which got me over 20 bass and a yella, then made the numbers up to 37 and one with a few shrimp.

Bass Sashimi would have been a good substitute although I have been told that you should always freeze or cook fresh water fish so you don't end up with parasites. Dunno if it is true or not.

Great work. Love spinnerbaits for cod and yellas. We catch some huge cod in the Lachlan on 1/2 oz twins and mumblers , surface lures are an exhilarating way to fish also

I used to take a few fish home years a go, but now I just raid the sons freezer for nice ocean fish.

My times running out I will have to get down to NSW and get a murry, got a mary,eastern,and trout cod, but have only tried for a murry once.

I should of done a trip before easter,Luke and I went down a couple of years a go after it had been thrashed over 2 long weekends and only found one fish.
