Gobblers Lures Sold

After some negotiation with the owner of Gobblers Lures, my wife and I have purchased the small business.

We will be taking it over in early July and manufacturing from home. (Just in time for me to make a few lures for the Kimberly trip coming up in end of July). 

It will take a few months to find our feet and then hopefully we can start making some small changes to improve the Gobbler experience.

Predominantly my Julie will be manufacturing the lures while I be doing marketing, development etc.

I'm sure there will a special for AFO members when we are sorted.

This is why I have been quite on the forum for a little while.

Congratulations Wayne, I am glad the deal finally worked out for you.

As I mentioned the other week, let me know when you are ready to sell and I will do some promotions for you and try to help you move some products.

Thank you, there was fair amount of negotiating to do to reach the deal but we are happy it's done.  Thanks for the offer and it would be great to see what we can do for each other. Definitely is exciting and something I was intending on dong into the future but when the opportunity came up we decided to take it.

They not bad lures. Andrew used to send me sone few years ago to try. Till this day i have caught my biggest snapper which went 99cm on the xl 8 inch. 

Get some 7inch like the zman jerk shads and it should be gun for offshore anglers

Hi Wayne, if you can recommend a good model for Bay snapper I will order a couple of packets just so Julie keeps busy when you are away.

Predominantly in the bay for snapper the 3.75' jerk shads and 3' curl tails work the best on a 1/4oz jig head for most applications. 

3 colours you could choose from are Mangrove Mauler,Tournament Snapper and Aged copper. (don't feel obliged to buy all 3 colours, just giving you a choice  )

The Mangrove Mauler & The AGed Copper have color changing properties depending on which angle the the light that hits them. If it is overcast they darken and if sunny they take on a more translucent appearance.
