G'day fellow crabbers n fisherman,am wanting to know were and when would be the best time to get out for the sandies on the maroochy river area

Mate they are there all the time. Trick is to keep at it. The old saying is any month that has an "R" in it but that is a myth. Get out there and let us know how you get on.

Perfect timing after the rain. They will get washed out of their holes high up in the mangroves. Fish in the drop off near mangrove flats or in the drains that feed the mangroves. Chicken frames are good but so is any fish or meat/bones.

Oh that is about mud crabs sorry I realize now you are talking about sand crabs. Deeper clearer water closer to the mouth.

lol yeah m8 initially but any help with the crabbing n fishing tips is much appreciated
