Boat And Trailer Storage - Gold Coast

Anyone ever looked at costs for boat and trailer storage on the Goldy? Contemplating a sea change and we want to be right on the water which means a unit (couldn’t afford a house) and even if we could get one with 2 car spaces I doubt The neighbours would appreciate me cranking up the 2 banger in the underground car park 5 days a week. I can’t imagine retirement without a boat so looking for options that I can afford and will work for everyone.

Just build a shack on Wave Break Island Steve and then we can all visit and you can host socials ..........  On a serious note, and I have no idea how much more you would need to pay, but investigate whether a unit with it's own pontoon in a canal is a viable option. I know @youngy has one and it must be so good not having to muck around at boat ramps, meaning that doing a short/sneaky session is no hassle.

Still looking @benno573. Not much comes up at Brunswick Heads and the good properties are dear. I read the other day that Byron now has a higher median house price higher than Sydney and is officially the dearest housing in Australia.

and they blame the "hemsworth factor" for this.

NO he has not. Although a mate with a boat on the gold coast sounds pretty good. Steve you will hve to dial in the night time mangrove jack spots. 

I do have a mate that used to wrack a boat down there. Let me check.

You should be able to get a very nice place on the broadwater.
