With the water dropping quite quickly and lily pads being exposed it is nearly time to go treasure hunting. There are plenty of redclaw and shrimp pots exposed and I know of a rod that was lost near this bank, Reckon it is fair game because the owner is incapacitated for another couple of months>

And lures Ray...Oh the bounty of lures to be found is quite something. I reckon I have a full tackle box of found lures from that place. Last one I found was a 150mm popper ?!?

dam has risen .1% with recent rain need a lot more but not an overflow event as it is spawning season

imagine the fishing in the pine river if it overflowed right now!

Do you think it wouldn't support many more fish? Would they just clean out all the shrimp and small fish then die?

The bull sharks would certainly have a good feeding time (not my photos).

The problem with overflow events is the mortality rate of fish that go over and are killed either from damage sustained from the fall but also from attacks by the white bucket brigade

 The yellas do not survive being washed down to the salt and either die of feed the bull sharks. whilst the bass can and do migrate to otherwaters, Bass tagged in NPD have been recaptured in the Albert and streams feeding into Pumicestone passage.
